After the original recordings of Martin Zavala y Los Rancheritos (de Cheto) were recorded and presented to the public, other local area groups contacted me for song material and the opportunity to record for JJ Productions. I got really involved with these groups and subsequently recorded three other artists:  Juan Carlos Garza, a Cotulla, Tx. native with a very special vocal capacity and talent which just brings out the Tejano style feeling known throughout South Texas.  Next group to record was a group from San Antonio that I had the pleasure of hearing at one of their local dances.  They were very excited when I approached them about recording for JJ Productions.  The group, Little Joe y Los VIP's had been around for a long time and had never had the chance to record their talents. With a mixture of some of their compositions and some of my songs, they recorded their first ever album.  In fact, one of the songs featured is a song they wrote called "Ya Era Tiempo" which details their musical aspirations. The third group recording for JJ Productions were also natives from Cotulla, Tx., Los Civiles.
